Just a little excited….

So, further on to my watch this space last week after my Visa appointment. With this trip being my first ever overseas trip, I didn’t know exactly what to expect with the appointment. But I just made sure I was early and my appointment went well. Flying down to Sydney and back in one day is a long day. But it was all well and truly worth it as my Visa was accepted. Lets just say that i slept like a baby that everything was all sorted for travel. The only thing left to do is literally pack….

Fast forward two days and getting ready for my morning tea on Friday morning, I recieved mail. My passport arrived, with my Visa newly stamped.

Friday was a great start to a good weekend, as I got to meet the AVC of Brisbane Campus and the International Director at the CQU Brisbane Campus. Catching up and talking to them and Tamara who is apart of the CQU Global team about the exchange program and what awesome adventures I will be able to do when I am over there.

The Brisbane AVC and International Director are all excited for me in my exchange program at Endicott College over the next few months.

Very appreciative to everyone at CQU Global for their support in making this happen. I mean it has been a whole year and a bit in advanced that I had put my application in.

I mean its super easy to dream that you can do this and that. To have the thoughts of you know you can do that Chap (apologies, I refer to myself as Chap sometimes…) but I knew what I wanted and I pushed myself and spoke in positivity because I have a habit of saying yeah I will do this but then again I dont follow through. Its a crap habit, But i am so glad that I kept my word to myself and did everything I could to ensure it would happen.

So it was a great weekend back in Bundaberg visiting family and friends and playing my last season game of rugby league before I leave. Was well worth the trips to Bundaberg and Mundubbera. So for now, its back in Brisbane and I am starting to pack all my belongings ready for storage and catch up with friends in Brisvegas…. lol…
